In addition, LDC-CelAgrid has the collaboration with NGOs such as the Farmer Livelihood Development (FLD), United Methodist Centre (UMC), Sunshine House funded by Awareness Cambodia and 14 NGOs partners to Heifer International- Cambodia. Although, University of Tropical Agriculture Foundation (UTAF) has moved to Colombia since 2002, it is still main LDC-CelAgrid partner organization.

Although no official collaboration from the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Prek Leap National School of Agriculture (PNSA), Kampong Cham National School of Agriculture (KCNSA), Moharosi Verdic University (MVU), and the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC), LDC-CelAgrid has been accepted, with the official letters of request and acknowledgement from these institutions, students to carry out their research work and practical experiences.

LDC-CelAgrid also provides services including trainings to numbers of NGOs and projects such as Agricultural Productivity Improvement Project (MAFF/DAHP/APIP, Smallholders Livestock Production Project (MAFF/EU/SLPP), CCRD, CEDAC, Helen Keller, Cambodian Australian Agricultural Extension Project (MAFF/DAE/AusAid/CAAEP) and America Soybean Association.

It has very important the support from the German Embassy in Phnom Penh for the building of the meeting room and office at the Eco-Farm in Prah Theat village, Rolous commune, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province at the start of the establishment of LDC-CelAgrid while Mekarn project supported the construction of the laboratory, Lab equipment and chemicals.

LDC-CelAgrid has received financial support from the Swedish International Development Authority-Swedish Agency for Research Cooperation (Sida-SAREC), AusAid/ACIAR through Cambodian Agricultural Research Fund (CARF), IFS, CIAT for research activities and farm demonstration. Heifer International – Cambodia and CIDA/Food Security Initiative Fund (FSIF) are so far the mayor donors for community development although other small community projects have been supported by NZAID and FAO Telefood project.
In the last 10 years from 2013 to 2023 LDC-CelAgrid works in the fields of livestock, forage crop, aquatic culture, renewable energy, edible insects for food and feed, climate change, effective use and management of farms' wastes and residues, food nutrition and food security, and community livelihood.
LDC-CelAgrid operations span 6 provinces (Kandal, Phnom Penh, Prey Veng, Takeo, Kampot, Kampong Speu) that represent of the four agro-ecological zone in Cambodia (noted that Cambodia is divided into four agro-ecological zone-the Tonle Sap plain, Mekong plain, mountains/plateau and coast-representing heterogeneous agricultural activity, population and livelihood systems (UNDP 2011b).

  • 2020-2024: Project title “Asian Chicken Genetic Gains (ASCGG)”; A platform for exploring, testing, delivering, and improving chickens for enhanced livelihood outcomes in South East Asia, funded by Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR)in collaborating with International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).
  • 2021-2022:  Project title “Assessing the potential risk for the transmission of zoonotic swine influenza along toe pig value chain in Cambodia, African Swine Fever (ASF), add-on the “PigFluCam+ ”project, funded by Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in collaborating with Leidos company.
  • 2019-2022: Project title “IFNext – bringing insect farming to the next level in collaborating with Institute for Food Quality and Food Safety”, funded by Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) in collaborating with Hannover University of Veterinary Medicine, Foundation (TiHo), Germany. 
  • 2019-2020: Project title “Cricket as addition nutrition and income for farmers in Cambodia-(Caniff)”, funded by Borlaug Higher Education for Agricultural Research and Development (BHEARD) at Michigan State, USA; in collaborating with University the Center of Excellence on Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Nutrition     (CE SAIN) at Royal University of Agriculture (RUA).
  • 2018-2023: Project title “Understanding zoonotic and pandemic risk in relation to swine production & exchange systems in Cambodia (PigFluCam+)”, funded by Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in collaborating with London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), United Kingdom.
  • 2014-2017: Project title “Costal adaptation and resilience planning component (CARP) of MoE, Activity 4:
    Revolving Livestock Scheme”, funded by EU, Sida, UNDP and DANIDA in
    collaborating with The Cambodia Climate Change Alliance (CCCA).
