Assisting Students
In 2006, LDC-CelAgrid has accepted students from different agricultural academic institutions and in 2006, LDC-CelAgrid accepted 60 students from Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Kampong Cham National School of Agriculture (KCNSA), Prek Leap National School of Agriculture (PLNSA), MVU and the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC) to carry out their thesis research, practical skill and volunteer works at LDC-CelAgrid and they are MSc., BSc and Associate degree students.
From 2004-2006, LDC-CelAgrid with its own resources, has paid 5 associate students to pursue for their BSc degree at Prek Leap National School of Agriculture. Among the five, two are presently work for LDC-CelAgrid.
In 2005, a total of 30 students from Royal University of Agriculture, Prek Leap National School of Agriculture, Kampong Cham National School of Agriculture and MVU were accepted to carry out their research thesis and volunteer works at LDC-CelAgrid.
In 2004, a total of 38 students from Royal University of Agriculture, Prek Leap National School of Agriculture and Royal Academy of Cambodia did their research thesis and volunteer works at LDC-CelAgrid.
Since 2003, 131 students Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Kampong Cham National School of Agriculture (KCNSA), Prek Leap National School of Agriculture (PLNSA), MVU and the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC) to carry out their thesis research, practical skill and volunteer works at LDC-CelAgrid and they are MSc., BSc. and Associate degree students.
In 2003, as the centre was just re-established only 3 students from Royal University of Agriculture were accepted to carry out their research thesis and volunteer works at LDC-CelAgrid.
Pigs production
Four pig houses were built up in 2003, 2005 and 2006 for research purpose however at present some of them are used for sows and fattening pigs.
